Lap number, New Best and Lap Summary

Three different lap-end features: the lap being entered, an eligible best, and a combined factual report.

Where: Race callouts → Individual callouts → Lap information.

How to use it

  1. Enable Lap number after every lap only if wanted, with Detailed and Performance enabled. It announces the lap being entered, not the lap just finished.
  2. Keep New personal best and lap time enabled for eligible personal-best lap speech. It includes the best lap time; it is not an ordinary lap-time report after every lap.
  3. Enable Lap summary after every lap for one combined available-facts report after an eligible completed lap: elapsed time → lap time → position → fuel remaining.
  4. With Summary ON, eligible enabled New Best and eligible comparison delta may be incorporated rather than spoken separately. Lap number remains a separate control and message.
  5. Fuel remains in the Summary when reliable even if standalone fuel speech occurred just before the line. Close repetition can be intentional.

Options and defaults

How it works

Summary has its own switch, default OFF. It omits missing/invalid facts. It does not use standalone position/fuel controls as global fact-redaction switches. Confirmed fixed Final Lap entry, authoritative pit/refuelling crossing and trusted finish exclude routine Summary.

Limitations

Clean/valid lap and lifecycle eligibility matter. Out/in laps, interrupted/performance-suppressed laps or insufficient best history may not qualify. Pending summaries can expire before dispatch; incorporated facts are not guaranteed a second standalone attempt. No audio-completion guarantee is made.
