A one-person GT7 project for Android
My idea was simple: drive a 1965 Honda RA272 around Le Mans in PSVR2 with nothing between me and the car. GT7's HUD-off mode gave me that. Then fuel, laps and the occasional warning disappeared too. So I built LapMind.
No PC for the core app. No LapMind account. No telemetry cloud.

Put the phone down and drive.
quiet by default · local by designDrive
LapMind listens to supported GT7 telemetry and speaks when something matters. Fuel. Laps. Position. Race events. The phone can stay down.

Sessions
Your sessions stay on your device. Open one later, see the laps, star it, back it up — or go straight back into a lap.

Lab
Pick a lap. Follow it around the track. Look at speed, throttle and brake. Compare it with your best when there’s a useful reference.
Five completed detailed maps: Tsukuba Circuit, Broad Bean Raceway, High Speed Ring, Blue Moon Bay Speedway and Northern Isle Speedway. Explore the six-example gallery →

No ads. No Pro tier. No subscription. I make it because I use it, and because I love building it.
Behind LapMind
LapMind is made by one person. I'm a travelling violinist, a father of three, and a photo/video nerd — not a software company.
The original idea was still that Honda RA272 ’65 around Le Mans in PSVR2, HUD off. Most of the work since then has happened between rehearsals, travel, family life — and apparently lunch.
Early days
The first alpha still called itself GT7 Race Engineer. The useful part came first. The rest grew around it.
Getting ready for beta
Five detailed map projects are complete, including Blue Moon Bay and Northern Isle. Autopolis shows the useful basic-outline experience without a detailed map. Track LAB remains experimental. What completion does—and does not—mean →
Local PlayStation telemetry, factual voice, optional Discord, local Sessions and detailed retained laps are the core. The complete manual is now here, with practical troubleshooting alongside it.
